WARRANTY POLICY

 

Limited Warranty and Warranty Disclaimer

SMAD provides one year warranty policy for the products sold, ensuring the absence of defects in materials, workmanship, and performance during the warranty period. The warranty period begins on the day of purchase. This warranty duration reflects SMAD 's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction for all our products within warranty timelines.
 
Please note the following:
①Warranty applies exclusively to purchases made through the SMAD USA website (www.smadappliance.com).
②Only the original purchaser is eligible for warranty coverage.
③A valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
④Approved warranty returns should be sent to SMAD within 7 days.
⑤For refrigerator accessories, please contact customer service within 7 days of receipt for any quality issues.
 
For clarity and without limiting the scope, the following conditions are not considered defects in material or workmanship:
①Normal wear and tear and/or required maintenance occurring during normal use.
②Damage caused by improper handling, assembly, installation, inadequate lubrication, or failure to perform necessary maintenance.
③Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, unauthorized modifications or alterations, accidents, acts of nature, or external forces.
④ Deliberate or intentional damage.
⑤Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, abrasions, and discoloration that do not affect the functionality of the product.
 

Limited Remedies

①If the product exhibits material and/or workmanship defects within the limited warranty period, SMAD will cover the cost of the replacement parts free of charge to the customer. However, the customer is responsible for all shipping or transportation costs associated with warranty services, including returning the product to us, which must be prepaid. Additionally, the customer bears the risk of loss or damage to the product during transportation until it is delivered and formally received by SMAD.

②During the warranty period, repair is primarily prioritized, and generally, free replacement of new products is not supported as a principle. If the product is confirmed as irreparable during the warranty period, a new product may be replaced depending on the situation.
